Bob is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (BSEE), holds an MS in Operations Research and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and attended the MIT Program in Advanced Financial Management. While on active duty as a Coast Guard officer, Bob served as Commanding Officer of the LORAN C electronic navigational network supporting the strategic forces of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force operating throughout the Pacific (selected as Unit of The Year based on the station's outstanding operational record). Bob was a research fellow at the RAND Corporation, began his industry career at Bell Laboratories, was Director of GTE's Network Technology R&D Center, served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Boston Technology helping grow BT's business from $40 million to over $100 million annually, and co-founded PhoneGenie Technologies. Bob has been awarded four U.S and eight international Patents for his innovations in the field of real-time computer networking.
Matt is a graduate of Cornell University with a major in physics and concentration in computer science. Matt co-founded PhoneGenie Technologies and served as the company's Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. As Vice President of Engineering, Matt led the development of three generations of industry-award-winning managed hosting technologies, directed a major joint systems development and engineering program in partnership with Zoom Telephonics, and managed the hosting of server and database operations for the financial services firm Capital One, a licensee of PhoneGenie technology. Matt has been awarded two U.S. Patents for his pioneering work in distributed systems.
Pete is a graduate of Middlebury College with a Master of Arts degree in chemistry from Princeton University. Prior to joining Image Fortress, Pete was Vice President of Marketing at Avici Systems and helped drive the company from zero to over $50 million in annual revenues. Pete was a member of the executive management team that took Avici public in 2000. Prior to joining Avici in 1997, Pete was Director of Sales and Marketing at 3COM and at U.S. Robotics. Prior to joining U.S. Robotics, Pete spent seventeen years in corporate sales and large account management at IBM.
Mike is a graduate of Wake Forest University. Prior to co founding Image Fortress, Mike served as Director of Quality Assurance and Customer Service at PhoneGenie Technologies where he managed quality assurance, systems engineering and installation, and customer support. Prior to joining PhoneGenie Technologies, Mike was a Technical Support Engineering Manager at Videoguide and the Database Coordinator at the U.S. Army Research Institute.
Joe earned a BA degree in accounting at Northeastern University and is a CPA. Joe is president of BPO Consulting Corporation, which provides outsourced CFO and other financial management services to a number of Boston area companies. Joe has provided outsourced CFO services to numerous mid sized companies in the Boston area over the past seventeen years.
